Sher Himmat S. Gill, DDS
Dr. Sher Himmat S. Gill received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Davis. He then attended the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry where he was awarded his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. After receiving his DDS degree, Dr. Gill spent several years as an associate dentist in a group practice where he performed general dentistry procedures for both children and adults.
In dental school, Dr. Gill participated in a number of externship programs and now continues to pursue hundreds of hours of continuing education in many areas of dentistry to stay current with all the latest advances in dental technology and techniques. He is a certified Invisalign provider.
Dr. Gill regularly participates in community service and outreach programs from CDA Cares and We Serve Day, to a dental mission trip to Fiji. Additionally, Dr. Gill is an active member of many professional dental associations including the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, California Dental Association, and the Sacramento District Dental Society.
When he’s not busy serving the community with exceptional dental care, Dr. Gill enjoys traveling, camping, hiking and spending time with his wife and son. He’s also an avid supporter of our local teams - the Sacramento Kings, San Francisco Giants, and San Francisco 49ers.
Dr. Gill is fluent in English, Punjabi, and Hindi.
I had some tooth pain so I called this office. Dr. Gill took the time to sit down with me and explain my situation and options. Turns out I grind my teeth and needed a night-guard.
